Sr Manager Data Architecture

Responsibilities

• Manage data architecture projects and teams, ensuring they align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to implement data solutions.
• Participate in defining data requirements and data strategies.
• Implement data governance and quality standards to maintain data integrity.
• Support the development of data roadmaps and ensure alignment with data standards.
• Mentor and guide junior staff in data architecture best practices.
• Contribute to data security efforts and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Prepare and present reports on data architecture project progress to department heads.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
• Proven experience in data architecture and management.
• Proficiencies in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and database technologies.
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CDMP, or similar are a plus.

Pay

Compensation range: $158,300 – $293,900 (influenced by experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, contract-specific affordability, and organizational requirements).
