About the role
Carry a key role in driving improvement of local procedures and processes for the business by product line. Manage product line profitability from quotation through end of production (EOP). Monitor and track project profitability before and after start of production (SOP) with PC, plant, and project teams to drive improvement actions as a business P&L co-owner.
Responsibilities
- Perform overall business performance analysis, providing business insights through forward-looking scenario-based analysis and deviation analysis compared to budget/forecast.
- Understand business drivers, needs, and processes to identify opportunities and challenges, collaborating with finance, business units, and plants to ensure all initiatives are implemented.
- Proactively participate in annual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts.
- Conduct new business quotation and analysis at each PR gate.
- Track R&D expenses, engineering revenue/allocation, and capitalization.
