Sr. Manager- Communications
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As Senior Manager, Transformation Communications, you will play a critical role in shaping how we communicate and drive awareness and adoption of Solventum’s Transform for the Future initiative. This role serves as a primary communications partner to the Transformation Management Office, helping translate complex transformation priorities into clear, actionable communication strategies that drive alignment, understanding and engagement across the organization.
This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and strong execution to ensure employees understand what is changing, why it matters and what it means for them.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation Communications Strategy
- In partnership with change management leaders, develop and execute communication strategies that support enterprise transformation initiatives, with a focus on Transform for the Future
- Partner closely with Transformation Management Office leaders to define clear narratives, positioning and messaging frameworks
- Ensure communications align to company priorities, business objectives and key milestones
Communication Planning & Execution
- Build and manage integrated communication plans across transformation initiatives, including audience segmentation, messaging, channels and timing
- Cookordination communication across initiatives to reduce overlap and avoid change fatigue
- Establish tools, templates and standards to ensure consistency and quality
Program & Project Support
- Serve as the primary communications advisor for Transformation Management Office initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to deliver clear, coordinated communication for major programs and milestones
- Maintain a transformation communications calendar to track key activities and ensure alignment across teams
Content Development
- Develop high-quality content including leadership messages, presentations, FAQs, intranet content, newsletters and talking points
- Translate complex transformation topics into clear, concise and engaging communication
- Ensure messaging is consistent, audience-specific and easy to understand
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, program teams and business partners
- Provide guidance and coaching on effective communication approaches
- Gather feedback to inform communication strategies and improve effectiveness
Change Adoption & Measurement
- Track communication effectiveness using engagement data, feedback and qualitative insights
- Identify areas of confusion or resistance and adjust communication strategies accordingly
- Drive continuous improvement in how transformation communications are delivered
Governance & Operations Support
- Support governance processes to ensure alignment and consistency across transformation communications
- Manage workflows, timelines and coordination across multiple initiatives
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors as needed
Your Skills And Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in communications, public relations, journalism, business or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in corporate communications or change communications
- Proven experience supporting large-scale transformation or enterprise change initiatives
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and translating complex topics into clear communication

Experience in healthcare, medtech or regulated industries is a plus
