Responsibilities
- Raise capital to fund the growth of EnFin’s residential TPO business in alignment with Company goals and annual targets.
- Assist in deal execution with JV/debt/tax equity investors in accordance with Company standards and practices.
- Review and revise legal documentation as needed for investor-related deals as well as other finance matters including complicated JV, debt, and tax equity legal documents.
- Aid in developing and delivering presentation materials for investor calls and meetings that are thorough, accurate, and attentive to specific business needs.
- Aid the Asset Management Team in preparing borrowing requests and executing tranche sales.
- Foster a productive relationship and work closely with external stakeholders including third party appraisers, insurance providers, and independent engineers.
- Perform both recurring and ad-hoc analysis to support Senior Management and Leadership of the Capital Markets Team.
- Articulate EnFin’s TPO business and strategy to third party investors ensuring to highlight and explain the most critical aspects.
- Build and maintain complex project finance/tax equity models to present to internal and stakeholders as well as Leadership.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining a close linkage between capital costs and market pricing.
- Develop, teach and provide guidance to junior members of the team ensuring they are performing work according to best practices and standard procedures.
- Foster collaboration, mentor and develop junior team members, and ensure collective growth in domain expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering or related field with a minimum of 8+ years of work experience including 5+ years of experience in project finance or structured finance at a top-tier developer, asset Senior Manager, or investment bank.
- Passion for renewable energy and the adoption of rooftop solar.
- Relentless intellectual curiosity and unwavering attention to detail.
- Experience in MS Office Suite and Excel (Pivot tables, functions, & VBA).
- Ability to learn how to use new tools such as AI to enhance efficiency.
- Unparalleled work ethics and ability to research, identify and troubleshoot problems independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced, “start-up” work environment.
