Responsibilities
- Interpret market research and apply relevant findings to the product development process to ensure timely response to consumer trends.
- Provide insights to product development managers that may impact aspects including but not limited to product features, user experience, naming and packaging.
- Responsible for creating and executing the product portfolio’s go-to-market strategy and briefing the Marketing organization.
- Overseer and approve go-to-market strategies developed by team members, defining target consumer, hero claims and launch narratives.
- Oversee content creation used in all marketing materials to ensure alignment with go-to-market strategy, brand standards and desired outcomes.
- Track and report out on overall go-to-market performance of product campaigns to identify successes and capture opportunities for future campaign strategy design.
- Serve as 'brand police' to ensure consistency in brand messaging across channels and customers.
- Pursue potential growth campaigns and experiments or suggest improvements to optimize portfolio performance.
- Establish and lead best-in-class marketing frameworks, processes, practices, and principles, including defining and driving key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team.
- Develop, establish, and maintain deeply collaborative cross-functional partnerships with leaders and colleagues across Product, Design, Merchandising, Channel, Sales and Marketing to enable the team and drive a consistent customer and consumer experience.
- Elevate team capabilities in positioning, storytelling and GTM execution.
- Set team priorities and establish clear roles, ownership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team.
- Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent is required.
- Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in brand marketing required.
- Minimum of two years in a Manager, or higher level, role is required.
- Experience developing go-to-market plans (e.g., value proposition, sales, marketing enablement, pricing, channel) required.
