Sr. Maintenance Technician

We're looking for skilled and forward-thinking Sr. Maintenance Technicians to join our growing team as we work to service one of the world’s largest online retailers.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
- Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
- Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
- Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
- Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
- Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.
- Ability to conduct preventative and procedure-based maintenance.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
- 3+ years of work order management.
- Experience with statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Previous vendor management experience.
- Experience with robotic maintenance.
- Experience with CMMS Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
