Sr. Maintenance Technician

Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, maintenance teams, and site projects.
- Complete all work orders and time entries accurately in the CMMS system.
- Work with the Asset Care Manager to train and mentor maintenance technicians and manufacturing operators in maintenance tasks and troubleshooting.
- Perform daily checks and scheduled PM activities on site-wide equipment.
- Identify root causes of system failures and perform necessary repairs.
- Provide SME support to deviation investigations as needed.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Complete all assigned training (SOPs, SWIs) and follow site safety and compliance requirements.
- Assist other technicians and teams to support site-wide maintenance and projects.
- Identify and implement improvements to maintenance practices and equipment reliability.
Technical Scope
- Preventive maintenance and repair of industrial/process equipment.
- Instrumentation and electronics, including PLCs.
- Electrical systems (single-phase and three-phase 480V).
- Manufacturing equipment: Bioreactors, Centrifuges, Autoclaves.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

- Remains informed on all safety policies and compliance updates and applies them in daily activities (A/I - Accountable/Informed)
Work Expectations
- Overtime as required.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably in biotech, pharmaceutical, or food industries.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Experience with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
