Sr Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift - DC9
Summary
The Senior Maintenance Technician is a highly proficient experienced-level technician capable of performing a wide variety of work to ensure that the facilities and equipment are maintained in a safe and effective working condition.
Responsibilities
- Modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operations areas which may include buildings, material handling, offices, lighting, electrical systems and plumbing in any of the distribution centers.
- Performs related work as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of proven verifiable assignment-related maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
- Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience with forklifts, conveyors, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics and building maintenance.
- Experience with maintenance in a distribution center setting.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to lift 70lbs.
- Electrical experience with high and low voltage, AC and DC.
- Technical school or training desired.
- Computer skills navigating email/Microsoft Suite.
Education
- Possession of a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
