Sr Maintenance Reliability Engineer Lead

About the role

As a Sr Maintenance Reliability Engineer Lead at SABERT CORPORATION in Sayreville, NJ, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability. You will also be responsible for managing a team of maintenance engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve overall plant efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans that align with plant goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of new maintenance technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and procurement to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce downtime.
• Train and mentor junior maintenance engineers on best practices and emerging technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of improving plant reliability and reducing maintenance costs.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in maintenance and reliability.
• Experience with maintenance software and tools such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
