Sr Maint Program Specialist
Primary Purpose Of Position
Responsible for development, implementation, and management of various maintenance programs that support the Maintenance Department. This position has a wide range of responsibilities, but typically a single Specialist will have a focused responsibility, which will require more of their time than other responsibilities listed.
Responsibilities
- Capture and coordinate completion of department core functions (as applicable to incumbent and split between specialists):
- A. Inspection readiness (Nuclear Safety Review Board (NSRB), Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), etc.)
- B. Performance indicator generation including input of applicable Critical Data Exchange (CDE) data
- C. Department website updates
- D. Oversight of KT&R process
- E. Generation of department owned Plan of the Day (POD) material
- F. Program Ownership (weld program, lifting and rigging, etc.)
- G. Department Training Coordinator
- H. Support of department Management Review Meeting package
- Perform analyst function for department (as applicable to incumbent and split between specialists):
- A. Support self-assessments including performing report reviews
- B. Support benchmarking including performing report reviews
- C. Support line with completion of Work Group Evaluations
- D. Support Organizational Readiness and Performance Improvement group with formal investigations
- E. Oversight for tracking and completion of department actions
- F. Maintain department Performance Improvement Action Plan (PIAP's)
- Support of Clean Energy Center (CEC) committees and programs, examples include, but not limited to:
- A. New Work Screening Committee
- B. Maintenance Rule Expert Panel
- C. PORC
- D. Surveillance Frequency Change Program
- E. Cyber Security Assessment Team
- F. Safety Committee
- G. Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) Committee
- H. Configuration Control Committee
- Perform Business Analyst function for department (as applicable to incumbent and split between specialists):
- A. Contract management (contract generation, invoices, Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA's), etc.)
- B. Development of budgets
- C. Tracking of department budgets
- D. Forecasting to support Business Operations
- E. Support of Workforce Planning
- Support special projects as needed, including oversight of contract personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience OR
- Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of related experience OR
- Associate's degree with 7 years of related experience OR
- High school diploma/GED with 9 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
- This position will primarily function as a business analyst
- 8 years of utility or related-industry experience
- Knowledge of Contract Administration and Budgets
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Expertise in PeopleSoft and Hyperion financial systems
- Previous Corrective Action / Root Cause Analysis Training
- Root Cause Evaluator qualification
