Job Summary

The Sr. Analyst, Logistics Sourcing & Process Improvement is responsible for the Regional Procurement of all Logistics Services (Land, Storage, Import/Export agents, etc) for Specialties SCM. Uses analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand Logistics operations, processes and activities, and controls or reduces costs. The Sr. Analyst is responsible for data management, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing, recommending, and implementing solutions to solve the problems.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter and detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to support and lead multiple projects through implementation and possesses a demonstrated track record of achieving results and operational excellence. In addition, the candidate must be able to operate in a highly matrixed environment, communicate with all levels of the organization, influence, and gain commitment, and continuously develop the talent around them.

What Matters to SABIC

  • BS / BA Degree
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in supply chain procurement related jobs or equivalent
  • Project Management experience in Logistics or Procurement operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to apply analytical tools in a quantitative approach to problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to mobilize resources, influence, and drive change in a complex environment
  • Strong record of achieving results
  • Fundamental business understanding and acumen
  • Possess a strategic mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal / communication skills
