Sr Loan Servicing Processor

About the role

This position will be responsible for research requests and performing loan system file maintenance, payment processing, credit report requests and special projects as assigned. Must be a team-oriented individual and have the ability to work in a fast pace environment. Work in conjunction with Branch Operations, Loan Boarding and Loan Documentation.

Responsibilities

• Loan research.
• Process daily reports and perform various corrections to loans.
• Manage loans with UCC fillings.
• Review Tax Delinquency reports.
• Work directly with the banks’ lending units to resolve any loan related issues.
• Review and Certify Cash Collateral.
• Perform daily GL loan balancing.
• Back up the file room administrator.
• Respond to Subpoenas by gathering and providing appropriate backup documentation in a timely and confidential manner.
• Follow all established policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in banking or commercial/consumer lending.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Required advanced research skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, and understand procedures.
• Effective organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Preferred

• Good working knowledge of IBS system.
