About the Role
This position is responsible for research requests, loan system file maintenance, payment processing, credit report requests, and special projects as assigned. The role requires a team-oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Branch Operations, Loan Boarding, and Loan Documentation teams. All duties must be performed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws.
Responsibilities
- Process loan research requests and perform daily corrections to loans.
- Manage collateral releases and loans with UCC filings.
- Review tax delinquency reports and work directly with lending units to resolve loan-related issues.
- Review and certify cash collateral.
- Perform daily general ledger (GL) loan balancing.
- Serve as a backup to the file room administrator.
- Respond to subpoenas by gathering and providing appropriate backup documentation in a timely and confidential manner.
- Follow all established policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in banking or commercial/consumer lending.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Advanced research skills and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions, interpret documents, and understand procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Preferred: Good working knowledge of IBS system.

Pay
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
