Compensation: $65,000+ DOE plus bonus Qualifications Encompass experience preferredBilingual Preferred - but not requiredFamiliarity with MS Office, Loan Origination Software (LOS), and Automated Underwriting System (AUS) are beneficialMortgage industry knowledge, specifically federal and state regulatory requirements are necessaryRecent mortgage loan processing (2-3 years experience) for a bank, credit union, or mortgage company is necessaryExceptional time management, attention to detail, customer service, and communication skills are necessaryBachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required Responsibilities Review loan applications for completeness and compliance with industry regulationsCommunicate proactively with clients to provide updates and address any concerns throughout the loan processCoordinate with underwriters to resolve any issues that may arise during the loan approval processMaintain detailed records of all loan transactions and communications in our systemIdentify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the loan processing teamAssure that all loan files, credit packages, and disclosure packages comply with company lending policies, as well as state and federal lending guidelinesInput loan file documentation accurately into necessary software programsVerify the accuracy of all obtained loan documentation, such as title insurance, loan applications, appraisals, credit reports, and income and asset declarations and provide them promptly to underwriters for loan approvalBe the main point of contact for title companies, mortgage loan officer/mortgage loan originator, real estate agents, borrowers, and mortgage underwriters to facilitate a timely loan closingCreate and maintain the mortgage loan file, order third party documentation and reports as needed for residential home loans, and assist underwriters in clearing conditions as requested
