About the role

Tuttle Medical Center is seeking experienced LVNs to join our team. Our mission is to provide comprehensive health services to high-risk populations and reduce health disparities.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of patient care activities in an assigned specialty or subspecialty outpatient clinic.
• Communicate patient data using Electronic Health Records to support decision-making to improve patient care.
• Deliver Care Management Services, referring patients and their families to resources that facilitate continuity of care, health promotion, and maintenance and restoration.
• Instruct co-workers and supervise them in the performance of special procedures.
• Assist in other patient areas as assigned by the supervisor.
• Participate in generating data for reporting purposes.

Requirements

• Completion of a Board of Nursing accredited program of vocational nursing.
• Current Vocational Nursing license in the state of Texas or a temporary permit from the Board of Nursing to practice vocational nursing pending full licensure in the state of Texas.
• At least two years of LVN experience in a hospital, clinic or community-based environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) documentation.
• Ambulatory clinical experience.
• One or more years of nursing experience.
• CPR / BLS certified.

Schedule

Staggered SCH Mon - Thur 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., Fri 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. & rotation to cover for evening and weekend staff.
