Sr. Legal Counsel

About the role

This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve commercial objectives
• Draft, review, and negotiate a range of legal agreements
• Lead strategic initiatives to enhance contract processing efficiency
• Advise Sales and Procurement on balancing objectives with legal risks
• Stay updated on relevant laws and industry standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in commercial contracting, ideally in-house
• Familiarity with various agreements like SaaS and privacy-related agreements
• Proven judgment and decision-making skills in legal responsibilities
• Active membership in at least one state bar
• Strong autonomy in project management and communication with non-legal teams
• Ability to balance business objectives with legal risk effectively
• Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business unit

Pay

$176,700 – $265,200 annually
