Sr Leasing Consultant

About the role

AvalonBay Communities, Inc., an equity REIT, seeks a dedicated and highly organized Sr. Leasing Consultant to join one of our apartment communities. This role involves driving the daily operations of the leasing team and ensuring residents experience luxury living.

Responsibilities

• Customize tours to individual tastes, recommending the best floorplans and new neighborhood restaurants.
• Create a sense of community and go the extra mile to create a spectacular experience for new residents.
• Reach out with tailored updates to prospective residents, such as ideal floorplans, new hot-spot openings, and local food trucks.
• Support, guide, and train associates, providing on-the-job training for new hires.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 1+ year experience in a leasing or customer service role in the real estate or property management industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $42,000.00 - $61,000.00
