Leasing Consultant
About the role
Fogelman is seeking a professional Leasing Consultant to join the team at The Villa at River Pointe, located in Little Rock, AR. This is an excellent opportunity to earn competitive leasing commissions while contributing to a vibrant and highly regarded community.
Responsibilities
- Interviews prospective residents and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications.
- Accompanies prospects to model/vacant apartments and discusses size and layout of rooms, available amenities and terms of lease.
- Sets up appointments and processes applications for approval in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Maintains positive resident relations by ensuring consistent follow-up with prospects, scheduling move ins, completing lease paperwork, walking move-ins prior to the move-in date, inspecting the condition of the premises, arranging for necessary maintenance, planning and coordinating resident events, and assisting with all marketing duties including preparing market surveys.
- Handles resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
- Assists with all marketing duties including preparation of market surveys and sends out all resident notices.
- Weekend work may be required.
- Adheres to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.
Requirements
- At least two years of sales or leasing experience.
- Strong social media and marketing skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- A passion for planning and executing resident events.
- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Experience with Yardi, CRM platforms, and Yieldstar is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
Qualifications
- Up to one year of related experience or training.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
- Experience with virtual and in-person community tours is preferred.
- Working knowledge of property management platforms (i.e. Yardi, Entrata, Yieldstar, CRM) preferred.
- Marketing skills with the ability to execute a property marketing plan through outside marketing, social media and resident functions.
- Familiarity with the local market preferred.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), relationship-building and customer service skills.

- Strong constant figure dexterity with the ability to grasp/turn.
- Strong sensory skills such as good eyesight, good hearing, ability to comprehend, speak, write and communicate.
