Sr. Learning Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior Learning Specialist supports and coordinates the creation and delivery of effective training programs within the Training and Development team. Responsibilities include assessing organizational development needs, designing and implementing curricula, facilitating learning sessions, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Consult with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and develop tailored solutions.
• Lead the assessment of training needs by partnering with department leadership.
• Design, develop, and implement curricula and training materials using various multimedia resources.
• Facilitate learning sessions and workshops using classroom, virtual classroom, on-the-job, coaching, mentorship, and e-learning methods.
• Utilize the Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver and track training, analyze results, and implement improvements.
• Develop comprehensive course assessments, training evaluations, quizzes, and interactive activities.
• Analyze the effectiveness of training programs and implement data-driven improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement of learning programs, including new hire training and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to other Learning Specialists.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Human Resource Development, Education, Psychology, or related field.
• 5-7 years direct experience with Instructional Design or curriculum development in a corporate learning and development environment.
• Knowledge of the manufacturing environment and learning and development needs of front-line workers, supervisors, and managers.
• Understanding of manufacturing policies, practices, trends, and technology.
