Sr Lead Network Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $149,000 – $200,000 annually

This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, automate, and support network solutions in a public cloud environment
• Provide network support for Kubernetes platforms within major public cloud providers
• Participate in design reviews and provide leadership to the engineering organization
• Evaluate, specify, implement, and support network performance monitoring tools
• Onboard new network development engineers and set team direction
• Develop roadmaps using established public cloud design standards
• Stay updated with networking industry developments

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of experience, including within an enterprise SaaS environment
• Expertise in Firewall, VPN, DNS, BGP, and public cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Proficient in managing production-facing Kubernetes environments
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking and CNI implementations
• Familiar with deploying cloud network infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
• Proficient in coding with languages such as Golang, Python, or Java
• Knowledgeable in advanced network troubleshooting and diagnostics
