Sr. Java Software Developer

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Java Software Developer to join our dynamic team. This position will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using Java.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for existing systems using Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Ensure code quality through automated testing and continuous integration practices
• Document system architecture and design decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven experience with Java and related technologies
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Java 8 or higher
• Familiarity with Spring Framework and RESTful services
• Experience with version control systems (Git preferred)
• Knowledge of SQL and database design
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
