Sr. Java Developer with Vaadin Framework

About the role

The Wadsworth Center's Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (CLEP) requires continued support and migration to a newer, ITS-supported framework. This position will augment in-house resources to assist with the application process.

Responsibilities

• Work with analysts to understand user requirements.
• Create design documentation.
• Develop custom code utilizing Java.
• Test and debug Java code.
• Troubleshoot issues reported by users.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience creating computer software, with the ability to specialize in or write code for various software types.
• 84 months of experience developing web applications using technologies such as Java, JSF, JSP, and Servlets.
• 12 months of experience developing applications using the Vaadin application development framework.
• 84 months of experience developing web-based applications to interact with an Oracle database.
• 24 months of experience developing applications using Java Persistence API (JPA).
• 24 months of experience supporting regulatory authority applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
