About the role
We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development with experience in an AWS environment and a passion for creating scalable, efficient applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices in back-end applications.
- Develop and maintain AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, IAM, and EKS.
- Ensure responsiveness of applications.
- Design and develop APIs.
- Meet both technical and consumer needs.
- Stay abreast of developments in back-end applications and programming languages.
Requirements
- Proficient in Java, with good knowledge of advanced features introduced in versions 11, 17, and 21.
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
- Skill for writing reusable Java libraries.
- Good knowledge of microservices architecture using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Familiar with Scala programming language.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools: Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, and Spinnaker.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and relational databases.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Docker, Kafka, and Datadog.
- Experience deploying applications to AWS using EKS.
