Key Responsibilities
- Design robust, scalable APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement RESTful services that meet business requirements
- Leverage Spring dependency injection to manage components
- Integrate core Java solutions as backend dependencies when APIs are not ideal
- Utilize legacy code to satisfy evolving requirements
- Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Write comprehensive JUnit tests and participate in code reviews to uphold quality
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and QA engineers, to deliver quality software
- Engage in agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on API development using Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of RESTful principles and API design best practices
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
- Expertise in Spring dependency injection
- Solid understanding of core Java concepts, including multithreading, concurrency, and memory management
- Experience with API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI
