Sr IT Services Analyst
About the role
This position is for a Senior IT Services Analyst to support and enhance HR technology operations within a large enterprise environment. This role will oversee application support, incident management, change and release processes, disaster recovery testing, compliance activities, and ongoing operational improvements across HR systems.
Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve HRIT operational processes, including incident management, change management, release management, communications, and process compliance.
- Cook up Oracle HCM quarterly upgrades and legislative updates, including testing, validation, stakeholder communication, and production deployment activities.
- Serve as the primary support lead for assigned HR applications, managing incident triage, issue resolution, and application health monitoring.
- Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) testing activities and coordinate with infrastructure, database, server, vendor, and application teams to ensure successful execution.
- Support audit, compliance, access management, documentation, and operational readiness activities across the HR technology portfolio.
- Act as a liaison between HR business users, HRIT teams, vendors, compliance partners, and technical teams to drive issue resolution and process improvements.
- Facilitate recurring operational meetings, coordinate cross-functional activities, track action items, and drive issues through resolution.
- Provide planned weekend support during Oracle upgrades, production releases, and disaster recovery exercises.
Requirements
- 5–7+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, or IT operations in a large enterprise environment.
- Experience working with HR technology platforms and HR business processes.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, incident management, change management, release management, and production support processes.
- Experience coordinating work across multiple technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with managers, directors, and executive leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Understanding of infrastructure concepts including servers, databases, networking, load balancing, certificates, and disaster recovery principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to support planned weekend work for quarterly upgrades, releases, and DR activities.
Qualifications
