About The Role As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and ongoing improvement of Flexjet’s iOS applications. You will take ownership of significant features, help guide technical decisions, and work closely with backend engineers, designers, and product managers. This role is suited to an experienced Swift developer who is comfortable working in a changing environment, balancing independent problem-solving with close collaboration, and supporting a high standard of engineering quality. You will also share your expertise with teammates and help the group deliver maintainable, well-architected solutions. Qualifications A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and professional experience may also be considered. Candidates should bring at least six years of professional Swift development experience and three or more years of experience with SwiftUI. A strong understanding of the Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) architecture is required, along with hands-on experience using continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines. Familiarity with Combine and reactive programming principles is important. Applicants should have a record of successfully leading and owning major feature releases. Experience with UI automation testing is a plus. Successful candidates adapt quickly to complex and evolving environments, work independently while remaining collaborative, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential. Responsibilities Develop new features and enhance existing functionality across Flexjet’s iOS application suite. Build responsive, high-quality experiences and help ensure strong application performance, reliability, and usability. Partner with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver cohesive solutions that align with customer and business needs. Contribute to architectural discussions and make practical engineering decisions that support maintainability as products grow. Review peers’ code, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to shared engineering standards. Offer technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced developers, helping them grow their skills and confidence. Participate in the Agile team’s planning and delivery activities, communicate progress and challenges, and take ownership of assigned work through release. Bring fanatical attention to detail to development, testing, and review, while continuously looking for opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of the mobile applications.
