About the role

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Investor Relations team. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and executing analysis, processes, and projects related to company and industry data, market surveillance, communications, shareholder analysis, valuation, analyst research, and earnings release preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform market surveillance to obtain surveillance on market performance and expectations for EXC and peer companies.
  • Prepare and distribute stock updates and monthly market summaries to EXC management.
  • Maintain and update the IR Q&A document with relevant talking points.
  • Expand fundamental analytical capabilities for Exelon and the utilities industry.
  • Develop and present IR internal and external presentations, including sell-side and EEI conference presentations, IR messaging meetings, and annual investor sustainability reports.
  • Own the development of the IR site and ensure its content is up-to-date and complete.
  • Support the development of IR 101 materials and share shareholder trends and activity with senior management.
  • Leverage disclosure-related findings to develop conference and public presentations, and prepare summaries of sell-side research for senior management.
  • Aid in the preparation of earnings release materials, including the development of the earnings presentation and post-earnings reaction materials.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in a related field required.
  • Preferred MBA, CFA, or CPA.
  • 5-8 years combined experience in sell-side or buy-side research, investment banking, corporate development, corporate reporting, finance, and/or investor communications, preferably including 3 years of utility industry experience.
  • High degree of ethics and ability to exercise judgment in interactions with senior management and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including financial modeling experience and experience with analyzing and/or preparing financial statements.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Experience in compiling effective presentations.
  • Self-starter with the ability to plan and execute with minimal oversight, strong sense of ownership, and commitment to excellence, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.

Pay

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $85,600.00/Yr. – $117,700.00/Yr.
