Sr. Integration Technician
Responsibilities
- Review project specifications and drawings with the engineering team, identifying similar past projects.
- Provide technical support for field personnel, engineering teams, and 3rd party vendors.
- Offer commissioning and integration support in the field to install products and projects.
- Cook up various maintenance programs covering generation, assets, switchgear, and controls/SCADA.
- Make field changes to support engineering and customer needs.
- Document final installation configurations and changes.
- Share lessons learned from field integration and maintenance support with the engineering team.
- Represent the company at FAT testing with technical and product expertise.
- Support GridSure applications both in the field and remotely.
- Ensure schedules and milestone dates are achieved.
- Review and verify drawing packages before submission and release.
- Cook up and document efforts for internal teams.
- Resolve outstanding design questions or issues.
- Continuously improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
- Communicate effectively in English with engineers, drafters, and manufacturing personnel.
- Aid in maintaining the engineering schedule and raise early warnings if milestones are at risk.
- Owning program-level design and support efforts.
Requirements
- Experience in integration, switchgear, and industrial automation.
- Strong experience with Volvo diesel generators.
- Proficient with MES/SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profinet/Profibus, CANopen, J1939, EtherCAT, MQTT.
- Experience with generator and power system controllers.
- Familiarity with various UL (or equivalent) standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proficient in communications software such as Modscan, Modbus Poll, Wireshark, NMap.
- Proficient in industrial automation software like TIA Portal, Crimson 3.
- Experience with protective relays such as Siemens Siprotec 5, ABB REx, SEL-(300, 600, 700) series.
- Proficient with Volvos Vodia tool and software.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in commissioning power systems, manufacturing generators and switchgear, and control systems.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Desire for continuous improvement.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to interact effectively with peers and management.
- Ability to travel up to 55% of the year.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications like Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawing sets.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
