About the role

The Senior Installation Scheduler coordinates and manages fast-turn/transactional electronic security installation projects from booking through completion. This role oversees all stages of the installation process, interfaces directly with customers, and coordinates project implementation deliverables from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Installation Technicians and/or Sub-Contractors to prioritize jobs and meet customer completion dates.
  • Manage and maintain a backlog of assigned projects, including revenue forecasting, status codes, and project dates.
  • Review the entire backlog weekly (or as needed) with the District General Manager (DGM) for revenue forecasting.
  • Attend daily calls with the DGM to review new projects and action items.
  • Drive the installation process for all assigned orders in alignment with the DGM, program management team, and field leadership.
  • Manage subcontractor schedules, including tracking arrivals and departures to/from customer sites.
  • Review all new orders for Customer Contact Information, Scope of Work, and labor allowances.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact and collaborate with the sales team to obtain Customer Completion Dates (CCD) and determine Projected Start Dates (PSD).
  • Maintain Electronic Installation Folders for all assigned orders.
  • Manage changes to PSD and Project Scope, assessing impacts on product manufacturing, transportation, and resource scheduling.
  • Handle equipment-related tasks, including submitting approved schedule orders, tracking equipment, processing RMAs, and obtaining service invoices from vendors.
  • Issue, review, and submit subcontractor POs for approval and to Accounts Payable.
  • Post-project tasks: clean up MOR, process signed CFIN in Solomon, and close out tasks/reports.
  • Document action items and notes in Solomon/Atlas and escalate unmet action items as needed.
  • Maintain the installation schedule using Atlas or other company scheduling tools/systems.
  • Follow up with the labor force via phone, email, etc., to ensure customer expectations for PSD and CCD are met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in operations scheduling, operations support, and/or project coordination.
  • Working knowledge of installation processes and systems, including the order-to-cash process.
  • Basic understanding of general construction management/coordination requirements (knowledge of construction licenses and permits is helpful).
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and database/project management systems.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
  • Occasional lifting of parts and equipment as needed.
