Sr Industry Specialist - Metals

Responsibilities

• Identifies and coordinates operational efforts that promote profitable sales growth within specific industries.
• Contacts customers directly in support of key projects and participates in industry associations.
• Develops and implements support plans for related activities within industries including other departments within the business unit and corporate functions.
• Supports database development and maintenance for specific industries.
• Responsible for identifying pricing strategies for specific industries and provides direction for pricing and interchange requirements.
• Identifies and implements the development of industry related promotional materials including catalogs, brochures, flyers, etc.
• Responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting of industry, market, competitor, and customer data and activity.
• Has leadership responsibilities for Industry Support Specialists, as well as key projects and team activities.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of the forecast and business plan.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree in a related field.
• At least 8 to 10 years of position-related experience; preferably over 10 years of position-related experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with industry-specific software and databases is preferred.
