Sr. IAM Engineer (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. IAM Engineer (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will own identity and access management operations that support secure access, application lifecycle management, and reliable user access across the environment. The position partners closely with Engineering and IT teams to resolve identity-related issues, strengthen controls, and improve the efficiency of support and automation workflows. It also requires collaboration with stakeholders to communicate status, support compliance requirements, and help ensure dependable operations in a fast-paced technical setting. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $180,000 annually Responsibilities Manage identity provider operations and application lifecycle management. Collaborate with Engineering and IT teams to resolve identity-related issues. Implement security measures and ensure compliance with FedRAMP/DoD requirements. Automate repetitive tasks and develop monitoring tools. Provide tier 2 and tier 3 support for complex issues and solutions. Update stakeholders on support request statuses and coordinate activities. Participate in the on-call rotation for federal cloud support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8-11 years or Master’s degree with 6-7 years in identity and access management. Proficiency in Directory Services, Group Policy Management, and DNS. Strong communication skills for technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex issues. Collaborative mindset to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
