Sr Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities

• Aid in all aspects of human resources, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Support employee relations by resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Offer guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
• Participate in performance management processes, such as evaluations and development plans.
• Work with management to identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
• Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
• Prepare and maintain reports and metrics related to HR activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective relationships with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and decision-making.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
• PHR or SPHR certification a plus, but not required.

Pay

$90,000 - $103,000 annually, DOE
