Responsibilities
- Aid in all aspects of human resources, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Support employee relations by resolving conflicts and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Offer guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Participate in performance management processes, such as evaluations and development plans.
- Work with management to identify training needs and coordinate training programs.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, ensuring fair and timely resolutions.
- Prepare and maintain reports and metrics related to HR activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish effective relationships with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and decision-making.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
- PHR or SPHR certification a plus, but not required.
Pay
$90,000 - $103,000 annually, DOE
