Sr. HRIS Analyst

About The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Workday Analyst to join a growing HRIS team during an exciting period of transformation. This is a newly created position supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday. With a Workday go-live planned for October, this individual will play an important role in supporting the transition, post-production stabilization, system enhancements, reporting, and long-term HRIS strategy. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Workday professional who enjoys the functional and process-oriented side of HRIS. The ideal candidate will be comfortable partnering with stakeholders, gathering requirements, configuring the system, developing reports, solving business problems, and helping drive HRIS projects forward.
Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and support Workday, including business processes, security, organizations, calculated fields, and related functionality
- Support the Workday go-live, post-production stabilization, issue resolution, and ongoing system optimization
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to understand needs and develop scalable solutions
- Gather business requirements and translate them into practical Workday solutions
- Configure system enhancements and improvements to support evolving business needs
- Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards
- Support Workday modules including Core HCM, Recruiting, Learning & Development, and other functional areas as needed
- Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions
- Monitor integrations and collaborate with internal technical teams and external vendors
- Support Workday releases, including testing, validation, and deployment
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and strong HRIS administration practices
- Lead smaller HRIS initiatives and contribute to larger system and process improvement projects
- Maintain documentation and provide functional support to HR and business partners
- Present updates, recommendations, and solutions to key stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of HRIS experience
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience
- Strong experience with Workday configuration, business processes, reporting, security, and core functionality
- Experience supporting one or more Workday modules, such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Talent, or Absence
- Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into effective system solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams and external vendors
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience supporting a Workday implementation or go-live
- Experience with post-production stabilization and ongoing Workday enhancements
- Experience supporting Workday integrations
- Experience leading HRIS projects or system improvement initiatives
