About the role
The Senior HR Enablement Specialist supports the strategic execution of people initiatives for the CMM HRBP team. They ensure consistent, high-quality execution of HR programs and processes across complex business units and functions.
Responsibilities
- Execute cyclical HR programs such as performance management, compensation, succession and talent management for complex or large client groups with minimal guidance.
- Lead the execution of complex HR processes across large or highly matrixed business units and functions, translating HRBP direction into clear, actionable plans.
- Enable key HR sessions such as talent review, performance and development, and organization design reviews by preparing insight-driven pre-reads, contributing to discussions, and asking targeted questions that strengthen decision quality.
- Contribute to organizational design activities by preparing data pulls, analyzing workforce implications, drafting materials, and ensuring accurate downstream HRIS execution with stakeholders.
- Cook up change management and product adoption across HRBP portfolios, aligning communications to drive consistent practices at scale.
- Support workplace experience by coordinating manager-facing resources on core people processes and contributing to culture and engagement activities with HRBPs and COEs.
- Contribute to strategic workforce planning and surface capability and skills insights that inform build, buy, and borrow decisions.
- Provide structured support for transformation programs, restructures, and M&A integration led by HRBPs and COEs.
- Run, validate, and conduct advanced analysis of Workday reports and Power BI dashboards to deliver insight-rich data packages; interpret patterns, diagnose workforce and talent issues, lead measurement of HR program effectiveness, and proactively address data quality.
- Shape executive-ready narratives — briefings, options, and implications — that influence senior HRBPs and business leaders during critical decisions.
- Identify cross-business-unit patterns in employee and manager experience, escalate systemic issues, and recommend improvements to HR Shared Services, COEs, or HRBPs.
- Leverage AI-enabled and digital HR tools, including analytics platforms and workflow automation, to improve insight generation, streamline execution, and elevate the scalability and strategic value of HRBP deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in HR operations, program coordination, or HR support roles.
- Advanced proficiency with HRIS (Workday) and reporting tools (Power BI) to run, validate, and package data accurately.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends and risks, and lead measurement of HR program effectiveness.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex or sensitive information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and apply an HR operating model, working with limited guidance within defined practices and using judgment when escalating.
- Curiosity and emerging comfort with AI-enabled HR technologies and digital tools that enhance analysis and streamline HR delivery.
- Proven ability to operate with limited guidance across large or highly matrixed business units, anticipating risks and ensuring continuity across performance, talent, and organization processes.
Qualifications
- Located in Columbus, OH
- Experience supporting organization design and change initiatives, including materials, downstream HRIS changes, and communications or adoption.
- Experience in a large, matrixed environment; union experience an asset.
- Advanced Excel and HR analytics depth.
- Experience integrating AI-supported insights or automation to scale HRBP deliverables across complex portfolios.
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
