About the role
The Sr. HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide strategic and hands-on organizational support for the Amazon Talent Solutions (ATS) organization. The role involves working closely with senior PXT leaders to drive results, looking around corners with data-driven recommendations for innovative solutions, and iterating on current mechanisms to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Director and VP-level leadership to drive results and look around corners
- Partner with central PXT teams, such as Talent Management, on systemic and scalable programs
- Function as a thought partner and coach to key leaders and their respective organizations; engage in the business strategic planning to translate business needs into a people agenda and effective organizational design
- Lead annual PXT talent management cycles relating to Talent and Performance Management, Compensation Management, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development for the organization
- Use strong analytical skills to tell the story around the operational metrics and supporting data and provide actionable insights to raise the bar on organizational performance and drive path-to-green plans as needed
- Communicate across global stakeholders at all levels and be able to know the business well enough (with the data to back it up)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of human resources leadership experience
- Master's degree or above in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience using data and metrics to drive actionable insights at scale (preferred)
- Experience in the areas of management and leadership development, organization development, learning and development, group facilitation, training and training design (preferred)
