Responsibilities
- Provide oversight of transcription, patient data entry, and processing of medical records
- Coordinate daily operations and functions
- Assist the Director with directing staff activities
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of medical record keeping, medical coding, and filing experience
- Experience with transcription equipment, typewriter, and word processor
- 60 wpm typing skills
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience preferred
- High school degree and basic college courses in medical terminology, basic human anatomy, and physiology
Qualifications
- Typing test (60 wpm)
- Reading comprehension assessment
