Responsibilities
- Develop test plans, procedures, and protocols for cutting-edge new and existing circuit protection devices for a variety of applications.
- Execute high-voltage electrical and short circuit tests to evaluate performance, safety and durability of fuses and other circuit protection products.
- Analyze and interpret test data and waveforms and create comprehensive test reports.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical feedback to product development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve testing methods.
- Perform preventative maintenance on the test equipment, maintain safety procedures, update risk assessments and operating procedures for the high voltage labs.
- Led the design/implementation of any improvements in the high voltage labs along with being the technical expert for ongoing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (5+ years of experience)
- Deep knowledge of electrical circuit design and data acquisition with specialization in power electronics and/or programming.
- Hands-on experience in operation of oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
- Ability to test, diagnose and repair various electrical setups and circuits.
- Ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to complete assigned tasks.
- Advanced knowledge in MS office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global manufacturing companies.
- Experience with Labview (or other automation software).
- Knowledge of PLCs and related software.
- Knowledge of Artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
