Sr Health and Benefits Sales Agent
Overview
As a Health and Benefits Sales Agent focusing on the 20-99 employee segment, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of the Paychex Agency by selling our comprehensive Health and Employee Benefits Insurance products and services.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients in business consultations to assess their needs, match them with Paychex solutions, and build internal relationships and referral networks to grow the client base.
- Generates sales revenue within your assigned territory to meet or exceed sales quota.
- Contact existing client base through phone, email, and/or in-person meetings.
- Leverage Go-to-Market sales strategy to identify customers’ needs to increase revenue and market share.
- Project a positive image in representing the company to clients and the community.
- Applies knowledge of Paychex Agency Insurance and Service products to interest clients effectively.
- Performs insurance needs analysis for clients to provide solutions to insurance and benefit needs.
- Develops Insurance Carrier relationships to enhance sales and service.
- Professionally write and processes sales contracts per operational guidelines.
- Performs underwriting of business risks per insurance carrier guidelines.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Business or related discipline
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related discipline - Preferred
- 2 years of experience in Relevant sales /marketing experience or the equivalent education and experience.
- Relevant Insurance License
Pay & Benefits
The starting base pay for this position is $55,000.00 base + commission.
