Sr Growth Product Manager
About the role
The role involves expanding the acquisition of customers for Community Phone Company’s services, specifically targeting the aging population. The incumbent will diagnose current barriers to customer upgrades, build and optimize the upsell motion, and ensure the system accelerates growth.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and ship in parallel: Within the first week, gather all relevant data, listen to recorded calls, and talk directly to customers who upgraded and those who did not. Start experimenting with the first live upgrade motion by day 15.
- Build the operation: By day 60, map every sub-funnel in the expansion motion, measure each one, and have a clear, written point of view on which sub-funnels have momentum and which need more signal. Prioritize experiments and prioritize sub-funnels based on their performance.
- Accelerate: By day 90, focus on making the system faster, increasing the number of experiments per week, and making sharper prioritizations. Ensure the 90-day review is a growth review with a live forecast and a clear point of view on the year.
Requirements
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of product experience with at least 3 in a growth or monetization role, including experience in consumer subscription businesses. They must be comfortable with ambiguity and highly biased towards action, and capable of diagnosing and optimizing the upsell motion for the aging population.
