Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Sr. Global Supply Chain Inventory & Planning Analyst to join our team. This position will be part of our Supply Chain Operations team, responsible for a variety of activities including data driven planning, inventory optimization, and management of the global supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Supply and inventory planning
    • Develop and lead global inventory strategies
    • Translate demand forecast into supply planning models, including safety stock, reorder point, and lot sizing optimization for reagents, instruments, and consumables
    • Maintain and optimize inventory levels to balance service targets and reduce scrap/obsolescence
    • Analyze demand and supply variability to continuously refine planning parameters within the planning model and ERP system
    • Create work orders and manage the production schedule for manufacturing and kitting operations teams
  • Data & Analytics
    • Analyze historical demand, shipment trends, and forecast performance to predict inventory levels and identify risks and opportunities in the global supply chain plan
    • Build and maintain reporting on key KPIs such as on-time delivery in full, safety stock performance, backorder, and cycle time
    • Prepare analysis and reports regarding production status, forecasts, and delivery health to leadership
    • Develop models and tools to improve planning accuracy and decision-making using tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau
  • Cross functional collaboration
    • Align with manufacturing and procurement on supply constraints, lead times, and capacity planning
    • Understand supply chain constraints and coordinate activities with manufacturing to ensure all resources are exercised
    • Escalate for solutions if any supply chain gaps exist
    • Support S&OP process and provide data and analysis to support the presentation to leadership

Basics Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, or inventory management
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel (required); experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Syteline, Netsuite, Oracle) preferred
  • Knowledge of supply chain concepts (forecasting, safety stock, lead times, service levels)

  • A hybrid work schedule may become an option once fully trained and approved by manager

Pay Range

$102,000 - $125,000 per hour
