Sr. Global Strategy & Financial Risk Analyst

About the Role

As a Sr. Global Strategy & Financial Risk Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in analyzing financial operations, assessing risk exposure, and supporting strategic initiatives across domestic and international operations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial transactions, cash disbursements, vendor payments, and cross-border activity to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential financial risks.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow, including outgoing payments, treasury activity, and account balances.
• Support domestic and international banking relationships, including account setup, documentation, and financial controls.
• Conduct risk assessments for financial operations, payment activity, expense programs, and international transactions.
• Review high-value and high-risk payments for compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist in implementing financial systems, operational processes, and global initiatives across international operations.
• Support international financial infrastructure projects, including banking setup and system alignment for new countries and entities.
• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and vendor due diligence to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Monitor transaction activity for unusual patterns, fraud risks, or control gaps.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, Operations, and external partners to resolve issues and strengthen financial controls.
• Identify inefficiencies in financial and operational processes and recommend improvements for scalability and risk mitigation.
• Manage corporate card program initiatives across multiple regions.
• Prepare reports, financial summaries, and operational analyses to support decision-making and risk monitoring.
• Maintain documentation for audits, compliance reviews, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Support ongoing financial, operational, compliance, and risk-related initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Studies, Finance, Global Studies, Strategic Studies, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• 2+ years of experience in financial operations, financial analysis, or risk-related functions, preferably in a global or multi-entity environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial platforms (JDE preferred).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to identify, investigate, and resolve operational or financial issues and recommend process improvements.
• Experience working with vendors, banking partners, financial data, and cross-functional teams, including international stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with reporting and financial analysis tools is a plus.

Pay

The typical pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 annually, with potential for bonuses and incentives. Final compensation is determined on a case-by-case basis, considering experience, skillset, and market conditions.
