Sr. Analyst, Global Risk Management

Ideal candidate will be based in Ohio with the ability to come into the Dublin, OH office monthly and quarterly. What Risk Management Contributes To Cardinal Health Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets. Risk Management identifies property, casualty and executive risks, recommends risk transfer solutions and administers risk transfer programs. This family mitigates retained risk via loss prevention and loss control programs. This family also analyzes strategic, operational, economic, regulatory and compliance risks and facilitates mitigation strategies (e.g., business continuity) to address those risks. Responsibilities This role is as a member of the Risk Management team reporting to Manager, Global Risk Management to support various department goals and objectives. This role will specifically support The Specialty Alliance, a Cardinal Health subsidiary that supports independent specialty practices by providing the infrastructure, resources, and scale needed to grow while preserving physician leadership and clinical independence. Following is a summary of the role: Collects, prepares and analyzes risk exposure data for various property and casualty insurance policies, including day-to-day management of the property and medical malpractice programs with multiple broker contacts and internal contactsBecomes a subject matter expert as respects to the Risk Management Information SystemCreates loss experience reports using the Risk Management Information System on a scheduled and ad hoc basisProcesses invoices, manages vendor payment profiles, and updates cash flow and accrual forecasts for Treasury and Accounting on a monthly basisSupports captive insurance administration, including premium allocations and claim reimbursementsRecommends and implements process improvements and improves written procedure documentationCompletes assignments for risk management projects, including quarterly and annual internal and external audits, integration of acquired companies, insurance premium audits, and special projectsProvides back-up support when other Global Risk Management team members are out of the office Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience, preferred1-3+ years of Risk Management, underwriting, brokerage, or related experience, with a preference of medical office insurance experience, preferredARM, CPCU, or other related risk/insurance designations, preferredStrong analytical skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong planning and organization skills; attention to detail while balancing multiple deadlinesSelf-motivated with a sense of urgencyProficient in Microsoft Office; Expert or Advanced Excel skills preferredAbility to work independently in a remote setting with occasional in-office meetingsRisk Management Information System experience, preferred Anticipated salary range: $68,500-$88,020 Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
