About the role
Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced geospatial technologies to solve complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain geospatial applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement geospatial solutions
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software
- Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
- Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development
- Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Python
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of geospatial data models and geospatial analysis techniques
- Experience with database management systems such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of web development concepts and technologies
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Python
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
- Knowledge of geospatial data formats such as GeoJSON, KML, and Shapefiles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment

Pay
Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek.
