Sr. GIS Solution Engineer – AEC

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with GIS technology, including creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web-based GIS applications.
• 3+ years of experience in AEC, environmental consulting, engineering, construction, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of GIS architecture from an IT perspective, including infrastructure, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud environments.
• Proven experience in technical consulting, enterprise solution design, and communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Understanding of sales engineering, business development processes, and customer engagement strategies.
• Experience troubleshooting GIS application deployments and enterprise system architectures.
• Knowledge of geodatabases and database management systems.
• Experience integrating software solutions with enterprise platforms such as data warehouses, BI tools, CRM systems, ERP systems, and analytics solutions.
• Programming or scripting experience with technologies such as Python and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms including Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar environments.
• Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically or internationally approximately 25-50% of the time.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Preferred experience with real-time data integration, IoT, AI/ML, advanced analytics, imagery, digital transformation strategies, Autodesk software, and 3D geospatial solutions.
• Master’s degree in Geography, Computer Science, or a related discipline is a plus.
