Responsibilities
- Develop and implement GIS solutions to support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective GIS applications.
- Conduct data analysis and provide insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Train and mentor colleagues on GIS tools and techniques.
- Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in GIS development and/or data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ArcGIS software.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications
- Experience with geospatial data and mapping.
- Knowledge of geographic concepts and principles.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
