About the role
Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize GIS technology to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain GIS applications using Python, JavaScript, and related technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement GIS solutions
- Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS software
- Support project management and ensure timely delivery of GIS projects
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in GIS development or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and related GIS tools
- Experience with GIS data modeling and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar
Qualifications
- Experience with GIS data collection, processing, and analysis
- Understanding of spatial analysis techniques and geospatial databases
- Knowledge of web mapping technologies and APIs
- Experience with version control systems like Git

Pay
Salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule that allows for occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
