About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Cross Program Microservices Team. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in React, Node, and Lambda, along with microservices experience and familiarity with Agentic AI in software development. Responsibilities include complex software development, managing project sections, adhering to deadlines, creating design specifications, unit testing, and preparing technical documentation. The role requires professional collaboration with customers and cross-team members.

The candidate will design, develop, and implement serverless software solutions to support data quality and automation, leveraging technical skills in data management and transactional systems to create efficient, cloud-enabled data processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex software solutions, including coding and managing small sections of ongoing projects while adhering to deadlines.
  • Create design specifications, perform unit testing, and prepare technical documentation.
  • Design, develop, and implement serverless software solutions for data quality and automation.
  • Build and monitor microservices, including UI components.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and cross-team members.
  • Apply expertise in data management and transactional systems to design cloud-enabled data processes.
  • Set up and manage DataOps processes (preferred).

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated software development experience.
  • Expert-level experience in React, NodeJS, and scripting in a cloud-based environment.
  • Advanced experience with AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, and AWS CLI.
  • Strong technical skills in Amazon Web Services (AWS) virtual infrastructure.
  • Experience building and monitoring microservices, including UI development.
  • Working experience with CI/CD using AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Full stack development experience using NodeJS.
  • Fundamentals in object-oriented (OO) and computer science principles.
  • Knowledge of distributed architectural design patterns.
  • Systems analysis and design experience (including OOAD and UML) and database design.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and modern software engineering practices.

Preferred Skills

  • High analytical skills and ability to develop tools for monitoring high-frequency data services.
  • Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams with a collaborative attitude.
  • Advanced experience with AWS-supported languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  • Familiarity with KMS, ALB/ELB, Route 53, and VPC.
  • Experience with CI/CD toolsets such as CloudFormation, BitBucket, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience using AWS CloudFormation or similar techniques.
  • Strong appetite for learning new technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or other advanced degree(s).
  • Relevant AWS or other professional certifications (preferred).
