About the role

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Java / Angular Developer to develop, test, implement, and support complex applications using Angular, Java, and AWS Cloud technologies in an Agile environment. This role requires strong full-stack engineering skills, a troubleshooting mindset, and the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, implement, and maintain complex applications using Angular, Java, and AWS Cloud technologies.
  • Analyze requirements, design solutions, write code, debug issues, and deploy software across the application lifecycle.
  • Build and support REST APIs and microservices to enable scalable application functionality.
  • Evaluate existing solutions and recommend improvements across application design, infrastructure, and delivery processes.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for complex application issues.
  • Review and implement application patches, upgrades, and new versions as needed.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, use cases, and scripts to support development and operations.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to cross-functional initiatives.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned to business and technical needs.
  • Support on-call needs, extended hours, and occasional overnight travel (15% or less), as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience with Java, Python, NodeJS, object-oriented design, and application performance optimization.
  • Extensive experience with Angular 8+, including Angular development practices and commonly used modules.
  • Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with Spring, Hibernate, J2EE, Maven, SQL, JUnit, JAXB, JSON, XML, Log4j2, REST APIs, microservices, and DevSecOps.
  • Hands-on AWS experience with serverless, containers, RDS, storage, and migration services.
  • Experience with Jest, Karma, and/or Jasmine for unit testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into language understandable by non-technical stakeholders.
