Responsibilities
- Make highly visible enhancements to our platform by maintaining and building new features across our stack.
- Develop innovative solutions that give Vivid Seats a competitive advantage.
- Work cross-functionally with other development teams and business stakeholders to deliver impact iteratively.
- Tackle some of the most difficult challenges of scaling an e-commerce marketplace by developing creative algorithms and features that maximize value and efficiency across the organization.
- Collaborate to develop and maintain best practices across the software development lifecycle.
- Mentor other engineers through pairing, code reviews, and tech talks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience building and supporting production web applications.
- Experience with modern front-end technologies such as TypeScript, Next.js, React, and their interactions with APIs.
- Experience developing Web-based, Distributed, and Multi-Tier architecture using Java/Spring or other major platforms (Python, Scala, Clojure, etc.).
- Experience designing, building, and testing web services and APIs.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills to document and share team best practices across the department.
Qualifications
- Preferred knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, PCI, and SQL.

Pay
The typical starting salary within the full salary range for this position can range from $135,000 to $170,000 USD. Factors which may affect starting salary include geographic market, relevant skills/experience, education, and other qualifications.
Schedule
We offer a hybrid 3 days/week in-office working model, providing employees the flexibility to take advantage of in-person and remote collaboration.
