Sr. Food Services Worker/Assistant Supervisor - Bedrock

About the role

Bedrock at Sarkeys Energy Center is seeking a Senior Food Service Worker / Assistant Supervisor to support operations in a fast-paced dining environment. This position operates under general supervision and is responsible for a wide range of food service duties, including food preparation, production, cash handling, and customer service, with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food according to recipes.
• Ensures optimal quality of food from preparation to serving.
• Performs cash handling, including running a register.
• Orders food products based on food consumption and inventory records.
• Oversees and maintains inventory records for all items.
• Determines work priorities and assigns work to Food Service Workers and student employees.
• Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the functions of the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or graduate of culinary school.
• 12 months of restaurant/customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Food Handlers License.

Schedule

• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM, but will include working home football game days, position is essential/may be required to work during campus closures.
• Schedule may change during scaled service.

• Pay Range: Targeted salary $15.00/hr based on experience
